I guess that it is time to update again.
I started my new job about six weeks ago and I really like it. I will be cross training here real soon. I am really anxious for that as I will enjoy that department alot better. I wasn't sure I would like the idea of going back to work as I had not worked in over five years. I really enjoyed staying at home. However, my hubby began thinking I was starting to talk to the dogs too much. (A little humor there) I have to say, tho, that I do miss not being here for the dogs and they miss not having me around to bug.
On another note, I had to go and get my daughter about a week or so ago and take her to the hospital. All is well now but it sure wasn't then. She also is really liking her new position at work as well. I gave her a really nice birthday dinner this past weekend. Out side of her partner and my mom and me, she never got a call from anyone wishing her a happy birthday. I think it hurt her feelings but I am not sure as I did not respond as I did not want her to get more upset than she already was. Her day just didn't go well I guess. She had inventory the night of her birthday and she came over and spent the night with me afterwards. My hubby was not home so she crawled in bed with me, just like she used to do when she was little. It put a smile on my face.
My wish to all of you out there...Is that your children will love you the way mine love me.
