A funny camping story
Last weekend we went camping again. My hubby is a member of the Elks here in our town. He has been a member of this place for almost fourty years. Anyway, they had a campout this past weekend and we decided to go. We had a great time. We also took Annie and Winslow. Shakespere went to spend the weekend with Krazy and got to play rock and water all weekend. lol. For those of you that know Shakespere, that was a treat for him. Anyway, we dont have a motorhome any longer so we bought all new tent camping things a few weeks ago, and we also have a good queen air mattress as well. Sat. night we go to bed and the dogs are asleep inside my sleeping bag. Annie is curled up right next to me and Winslow was down by my feet and I guess he moved and he fell of the mattress inside the bag. It woke me up so I sat up and tried to retrive him. In doing so, I fell off. Now, mind you I am laying on the floor to the tent laughing as hard as I possibly could. I am sure I had to of woke someone up, other than hubby. I could not get up or move as the zipper part was underneath me and Annie too. I tell hubby to help me but he is also laughing very hard. Finally he gets me up (with no help from me). This is one of those "you had to be there things" but I am sure you can see the humor in it.
Next week I think Krazy and I are gonna go away for a couple days. We need mommy/daughter time.
Finally got some of our veggies planted a couple weeks ago. Will plant more this weekend. Krazy's garden looks really great. I think this is the first time she has ever planted and is having fun with it as well. She wants me to plant beets as last year they turned out yummy.
