Health Issue's
In starting this story I have to back up just a bit. Krazy fostered two new puppies from the time they were four days old. On Krazy's birthday I watched them here at my house while she and her girlfriend went to the valley. The puppies were about five weeks old at that time. Well, they had this funny smell and the little boy had a bunch of itchy spots, so I bathed them. As time went on Ruger (the boy) kept itching and Krazy took them both to the Humane society to find out what was going on. It appeared that they both had mange. Ruger was much worse than Jody. In time Jody got better and Ruger was put down. My first trip to the Dr. was on Nov 29th. At that time I mentioned the itching but it was overlooked. Since that time I started brusing where I was itching. All these tests were done but everything came back ok. (I am not talking about the high blood pressure. I was in stroke mode there). This week I went to the Dr.'s again and just happened to mention that Annie (one of my dogs) was itching really bad too as well as hubby. The Dr. perscribed a cream for me and hubby, yes he was itching too. With this cream, we had to strip the bed, shower and put this cream all over us then in the morning strip the bed again and take another shower. Then we have to do it again on Sat. The same procedure. The itching has let up alot. Then I took Annie to the vet and she is now on meds. I told the vet the story and this is what she said. It is more likely that I got the mites from Ruger and passed them on to Annie. That's all Annie and I are doing is passing them back and forth to each other. So I have not put Annie in our bed for the past three nights and try not to hold her quite as much as I normally do. For those of you that know Annie, she is a momma's girl and follows me everywhere I go. Well, I noticed yesterday that she has backed off her itching some as well. It is not a positive thing that I have these mites but they are treating me for it and Annie too. Dr. says it won't hurt me if it isn't the mites. I still bruise where I itch. I am thinking that I bruise easily because when I had cancer five years ago my skin got very thin. I was told that my skin would thicken up but it never did. I don't know what else to think.

As far as the blood pressure goes, it has come down alot but not in the total ok zone yet. Krazy, and her friends as well as hubby have really been here for me. Hubby took alot of stress off of me and is now helping me with some things around here. He is better this time than when I had cancer. I have a high school friend staying here with us and she has been a Godsend for me. While I was down and in bed she managed the house and cooking for me. Hubby helped her out alot and she put us on a healthy diet and I did manage to lose a few pounds. LA, you probably know her. Your brother was her first puppy love.

Until next time, please clix me.
