Health Issues

Well here it goes. On Tuesday I really had major problems going on. For the past couple months my skin has really been ichy. Three days ago I startred to get these bruises on certain parts of my body that I at first thought were from itching. By Tuesday it looked like someone has taken a baseball bat to me and beat the hell out of me. Some of the bruises are really bloody looking. So on Monday I tried to get into the Dr. office and could not. Then I tried again on Tues. and still could not. So a friend of mine saw them and it was suggested to go to Urgent care as it is cheaper than emergency. So I did. That's when we found out that my blood pressure had gone to 199/103. Well I got a perscription for Predizone to help the itching and a sheet of about 8 blood tests that I was to have done the next morning as I needed to fast. From there I came home and sat and talked to my friend and told her what had happened. Then about an hour later we drove to Kmart to get the script filled. We walked straight to the pharmacy and stood in line. While we were waiting I went around to test my blood pressure. At this time it was 196/110. My friend said try again just to make sure. Three times in a row it would not register me. She sat down and she registered, I did not break it after all. The the pharmisist came out and asked if I felt ok which I did. I had some pressure in my chest and my legs were a tad wobbly but other than that I was ok. So I tried it again. This time I registered 197/116. OK Really not good. We left and she brought me home and told me to call her if I needed her. The next thing I did was to call Urgent care back and they told me in no uncertain terms to get to the emergency room. I called my friend to come and get me and off we went. By the time I got in to the Triage it was now 204/117. You could say that I was getting a bit scared. I got back to the emer. section and they gave me pretizone and benedril for the itching. Then they gave me Adavan for the itching and the nerves as I was pretty scared. Well that knocked me out and they gave me more pretizone that I don't even remember taking. Eventually they released me. In between the first set of pills and the shot they did all the blood work that was needed and that all came back fine. Something is obviously going on but as to what is anyones guess. Well then, even with the script for pretizone am I am still itchy. We went out and bought a blood pressure cup and my blood pressure is still high, not as bad as Tuesday but still on the almost dangerous side. We are still trying to get in to see my Dr. and believe me I am really getting angry about it. My daughters friend who has nursing background spent the day with me yesterday and pretty much kept me in bed and will return sometime this morning. She will probably put me back to bed to try to keep me quiet. For those of you that know me that is a difficult task all by itself. I am going to try today to see if maybe I can get in to see another Dr. if mine won't take the time. Yes, she is aware of everything that has happened. She has not even called me to see how I am and that really angers me. Guess I will be shopping around for a new Dr. They haven't even put me on meds for the high blood pressure. Emer. said they contribute it to aniexity but that is not the case. Even if it were, my blood pressure would not go as high as it did. Am I scared over this, you bet I am. That brings us to today. I will keep you all informed but now think I need to go and check the blood pressure.
