A wonderful vacation
We had hubby's daughter and her two little girls here for ten days. It was a great visit but I forgot what having little girls around is like. Granted, Krazy's friend has three girls and the youngest is here quite a bit but you never know she's here as she is usually really good. My two granddaughters are good but are close to the same age and therefore bug one another etc. You get the picture. We had a big Bar-B-Q for hubby's sixtieth birthday. What a wonderful day he had. It really made my heart do leaps as it was just a perfect day. Well, almost. We had one conflict with friends of ours who chose not to stay at the party because someone else was here. It didn't matter that the person was getting ready to leave. It upset me as the day was not about her or the other lady. It was hubby's birthday. That still needs to be resolved. She has apologized to me but I am still hurt that she could not just bite her tongue until the other lady left. Such is life. We took our daughter and granddaughtes all over the place and had a great time. It was sad to see them go. We are now gearing up for our next arrivals.
Our house in Lakeside will be up for rent in Aug. We are losing our tenant who happens to be a very dear friend of mine. We have been friends for close to fourty-five years. She is moving back to Ca. I will miss her but know where to find her. I never thought she would return to Ca.
