Finding old Friends
About two months ago I ran across some old email address'. There was a couple in perticular that I had lost that I really wanted. I didn't know if they were still good but I sent out some emails anyway to find out. They were of some old friends that I worked with about fifteen years ago when I worked for Packard Bell. I stayed in touch with some of the gals for quite awhile. I guess I lost touch about six years ago. I'm not really sure. Anyway, I got a response. The Monday after Mother's Day we all met in Laughlin for three days. We had a blast. It was great to see them again. We must of laughed non-stop. We didn't gamble too much as we had so much catching up to do. We had a wonderful boat ride around all the casino's. It was hot enough to really enjoy the breeze. We also had one of our dinners at Joe's Crab Shack. Great place to eat. The food was excellent. It is at the Golden Nugget. Then on Wednesday, we drove to Lake Havasu. I thought it was farther away than what it was. We went to see the London Bridge. I had never actually seen it. I got wonderful pictures all around. I think my favorite pictures were taken at the entrance of the Golden Nugget tho. What a paradise that was. I left Thursday morning to come back home. I was glad to get back home. Now I have to gear up for family visits. My hubby is going to be sixty in just a couple of weeks and we are having a Big Birthday Bash for him. So I have alot to do before they get here.
