Dr.'s Appointment
Well, Monday was interesting. I had a Dr. appointment at 2 pm and I asked Krazy to go with me as she always wants to know what the Dr. says. She also will accuse me of not telling her the whole truth. So it works out when she can go with me. The problem was she had to be at work at 3:30 pm. I figured we had plenty of time. They are now running more blood tests as they are saying that my thyroid is not producing. My count is way up there and they are really concerned. I had two blood tests in the immediate past where the first one my count was ok and the second it had sky rocketed. So now they did another one. Depending on what they find I will either start a new med or double up on the one I am currently taking. This Dr. is really good as she does new blood tests every six weeks. So, she stays on top of things. On the last Dr. visit my blood pressure was pretty high so she wanted to check it again. This time it was perfect. I also mentioned my elbow to her and told her about the cortizone shots that the other Dr. that I was seeing had given me. She immediately said she would not give me the shots. I now have two choices. One is to deal with the pain the rest of my life and the other is surgury if the pain continues. What I have is cronic tendonitus of the elbow and it will never go away. So we are gonna watch it and she will send me to a specialist.
I am feeling so much better now that I stopped taking my anxiety meds and the beta blocker. I seriously think that the two meds combined were what was making me sick. I feel good. I think it was just the wrong combination for me.
I go for an interview today. It is at a car dealership a few blocks from here. They wanted someone who could work weekends but when she called me the first time about two weeks ago I told her I could not work weekends. My hubby is on the road and I only get to see him on Sat. and part of Sun. She at that time said she could probably work around it and would call me back. Well, I didn't hear from her so I just figured that she found someone who could work weekends. The lady called me last night and asked me to come in for an interview this morning. As we were talking it was mentioned that the people up here on the mountain seem to want the money but do not want to work for it. She agreed wholehartedly. Maybe my foot got through that door. Anyway, we will see. I will learn more in this interview.
