Winter Storm
It did nothing but snow yesterday all day long and I mean litterly all day with no breaks at all. It was beautiful. Some of the time it was light and then go to heavy and blowing. It is so beautiful!! We stuck a measuring stick out yesterday afternoon and at that point we had 21". We took alot of pictures but I am not computer literate and do not know how to add the snow pictures here. They would really be worth seeing. Sorry! Any way since we got all the snow yesterday I made homemade soup for dinner as well as a good salad. Then had french bread. The outside was pretty and the inside smelled so good. Now for this morning. It is snowing. I do not know if it is still snowing or if it has started again. Krazy just yelled at me that it was snowing again so I assume it did stop somewhere in the middle of the night. Anyway right now the measureing stick is barely seeable.
You can barely see my smaller pine trees. We are snow bound here. It would not surprise me to hear that the city has totally closed down we have that much snow. Another tidbit of information is that we have not had moisture for the last 150 or so days. It has hit us all at once to make up for it. At least we got it and our forest is now alot safer than it was. The news said it was to start warming up tomorrow but we will see. Krazy's car is parked across the street in a neighbor's driveway and you can not see it, only a mound of snow. My hubby parked our truck out front so it would be easier to get out if needed. What a laugh!! Can't see the truck either. My isn't this fun. A friend of Krazy's who happens to work at Safeway by my house just called the store which is open 24 hrs. and no one answered. Oh No!
